Sodium chlorite is a powerful oxidizing bleaching agent widely utilized in various industries. With a theoretical effective *** content of 157%, our industrial-grade sodium chlorite with a purity exceeding 80% offers an effective *** content of 130%, equivalent to 7 times that of bleaching powder.
Our sodium chlorite is primarily employed in bleaching pulp, paper, and a range of fibers including cotton, flax, and viscose. Its moderate REDOX potential makes it ideal for bleaching synthetic, natural, and artificial fibers without damaging them, resulting in superior quality bleached products compared to *** and other ***-based agents.
As the fourth generation disinfectant *** dioxide gains popularity in various applications, our sodium chlorite is also used for water treatment, sterilization, algae control, and deodorization. It effectively removes phenols and phenolic compounds from polluted water, making it suitable for drinking water treatment.
In addition to its bleaching capabilities in sugar, flour, starch, grease, and wax refining, sodium chlorite can be used for surface treatment of metals and as a dyeing discharge agent. It also aids in purifying trace nitric oxide in coke oven gas.
